Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She works as an ESPN anchor for news and also hosts SportsNation often. In 2016, she was a part of ESPN. She is the daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a television reporter. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been so since the age of nine. Her ability in this area helped her to get her first job at Univision, Miami. She worked with national producers on programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Then she was promoted to an reporter at The CBS St. Petersburg affiliate after that. In 2009 she relocated to Texas to Rio Grande Valley where she was a news reporter on KNVO TV 48 Univision. In 2009 she made the move into Rio Grande Valley, Texas, where she became a journalist for KNVO 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. In addition, she was an anchor for sports anchors and weather forecasters. Then she became anchor and reporter for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. She was then given larger responsibilities. She did pieces on Major League Baseball's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and the NBA Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. In addition, she hosted her own local Univision 23 sports show Accion Deportiva Extra. The show was promoted to be a sports anchor for Despierta America Deportes' morning show. She also played the role for Primer Impacto on UniMas Network as well as Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta's parents are from Veracruz Mexico. She was born November 22 on the 22nd of October, 1984 in Mexico City. There is an older sister. In 1992 the family left Mexico to the US and eventually settled in Miami. In 1992, the couple divorced then shortly thereafter in 1995 she was remarried Fabio Fajardo who was an engineer in the naval sector who died in 2006 after suffering from kidney cancer. On a family vacation in Ohio, younger Collins took a place alongside her elder sister. Antonietta had just graduated high school but already knew what she was going to accomplish. At the end of the day she was enthralled with the campus. The university offered her the opportunity to study a major. Following her graduation from high school, she decided to enroll at the university to pursue a degree with Media Studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was part of her class, formed a lasting relationship with the student. Her professor, Mark Bergmann, inspired her by his love of journalism. Also, he deeply affected her.
