Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins (born in Mexico) is an Mexican American journalist. She currently works for ESPN as a reporter for SportsCenter and occasionally host SportsNation. In 2016, she was a part of ESPN. She's the daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been for a long time, starting at when she was nine years old. The ability to speak two languages helped her to get her first position at Univision, Miami. She was able to work alongside national producers on shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was hired to the CBS station as the sports reporter. In 2009 she moved into Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist at KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. Reports on her show covered immigration issues drugs, immigration, as well as various other topics on the Texas and Mexico border. She was also the Spanish reporter on the newscast at 5 p.m. as well as anchor and reporter for the newscast of nine p.m. on English as well as also a Spanish reporter from 10 p.m. In addition, she was frequently called upon to be a weather and sports anchor. Then she anchor and wrote on Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was assigned more responsibility. The city of Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd of November, 1985. She has an elder sister. In 1992 the family left Mexico to the US and eventually settled in Miami. The couple divorced shortly thereafter and, in the year 1995, she got married to a naval designer named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 of kidney cancer. She stayed at Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime and was given the opportunity of a job. Antonietta was an incoming senior in high school however, she had a very clear vision of her career goals. She visited Mount Union University to determine if they suited her. She loved the campus. The university also provided her with the degree she wanted. She graduated from school and was attended the university as a major in media studies. Professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was part of her class, developed a lasting relationship with her. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her with his enthusiasm for journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
