Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is an Mexican American Sportscaster. She is the host of SportsNation and is an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She began her career at ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native speaker of two languages. When she was just nine, Collins's ability to communicate in two languages allowed her to get the job she wanted in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. In addition she also co-hosted and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. She also served as the anchor for sports on Despierta America Deportes morning show. It was the same role for Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo for the UniMas Network. Antonietta Collins' parents were born in Veracruz Mexico. The city of Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd of November, 1985. She has an older sister. In 1992, the family left Mexico to the US and settled in Miami. They divorced shortly thereafter and in 1995 her mother was remarried to a naval architect known as Fabio Fajardo who died from kidney cancer in 2006. Her residence was at Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime, where she had been given the opportunity of a job. Antonietta who was in high school having a clear idea of where she would like her life to look like, traveled to Mount Union University in order to find out if the school suited her. In the end she was enthralled with the campus. The university offered her the opportunity to study a major. Following her graduation from high school, she decided to attend the University to pursue a degree with Media Studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and the manager of WRMU, of which she's a part. They had a very close connection. Her professor, Mark Bergmann, inspired her by his passion for journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
